Computer problems at United Airlines temporarily grounded flights across the country Thursday, the third such incident at the carrier.

The problems affected only United flights Thursday morning, with none of its regional partners being impacted, an airline spokesman said. The computer system was back to normal by about 8:20 a.m. PST, he said.

The airline did not disclose how many flights were disrupted by the computer glitch. Flightstats, the flight monitoring website, reported that United had 178 delayed flights in the U.S. on Thursday. That’s a fraction of the approximately 4,000 daily flights it operates, according to the website.

In August, United reported a computer malfunction that delayed 580 flights; other computer problems in March affected airport check-in kiosks and information on the airline’s website.
