American Airlines to Keep New Livery
The employees at AA voted to keep the airline's new logo. CEO Doug Parker reports that he's pleased with the outcome. If he got what he wanted, that's probably because the vote was effectively rigged. It was rigged by making the choice all about the tail. The tail, like it or hate it, isn't really the problem. Just a note about the new colors - the reason for the change in the first place, new aicraft that are now made of composite materials - can not be made to look like the polished aluminum of AA's old colors.
