I can only repeat my question: what does this photo contribute to the plane spotting?

Written on 23-07-2014 by Guido Warnecke

? What is this?

Written on 23-07-2014 by Guido Warnecke

Proud Bonnie owner...

Written on 22-07-2014 by Guido Warnecke

Now this is different. I like it.

Written on 05-04-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I actually did recognize it as a P-51 but it still should have been identified when posted as well as just a little detail behind the photo. I agree with a no or low vote with the lack of any commentary.

Is this a yoke?

Written on 23-07-2014 by Guido Warnecke

The CAP does a great work to bring the youth closer to aviation!

Written on 22-03-2014 by Guido Warnecke

It's obviously an airport, but when? Where?

Written on 29-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Looks like an A-1 Skyraider to me.

Written on 17-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Yes, it's oversharpened, somewhat uneven edges, but I think the background lends itself to BW. If it were an Army UH-1, it would be perfect with the background.

Written on 29-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Great photo! Everybody is exited.

Written on 14-04-2014 by Guido Warnecke

And this plane is a what? It was taken where? Taken when? Airshow, flight test?

Written on 12-05-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

I'm guessing a firework was taped onto the prop

Written on 22-05-2014 by Jeff Lawson

What is the intention to upload this photo, if I may ask?

Written on 08-06-2014 by Guido Warnecke

Darn good images. You did a great job with an ideal background and good time of day for ideal light. Impressive work.

Written on 16-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thank you. I've been photographing the Tbirds for years and always like it when I get one that stands out.

Written on 10-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Actually, it's not. The threshold of the runway on the island of St. Martin is within throwing distance from the beach. Aircraft come down extremely low to the crowd and the beach in order to touch down on the runway. Here's a couple of links showing the airport and the beach - http://www.airplane-pictures.net/images/uploaded-images/2011-8/31/154105.jpg http://travel.spotcoolstuff.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/maho-st-maarten-airport-beach-6.jpg

Written on 24-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Amen the that and thanks!

Written on 22-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Looks a lot like a DC-3 to me.

Written on 18-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Windows in the nose section . . . ?

Written on 18-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Gook shot. I like it in BW.

Written on 29-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Nailed it! Good timing.

Written on 07-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Lucky dog! A chance to fly in a B-25 AND fly alongside a P-40.

Written on 10-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This is for Michelle's entourage and luggage.

Written on 05-04-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Ron Harper - GPS the address I've pasted below. It will get you within 100 feet of the location. It's a street that dead ends against the airport's fence. Plane-spotters are strongly advised to call KIAH Airport Operations to "check in" with them. Tell them you're at "Rankin Road" and they'll ask you a few questions.

2501 Rankin Road
Houston, TX 77032

Wo! Thought this was my squadron's plane at first and was wondering what it was doing at this airport; N816CP at GA153

Written on 18-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This user is known for this. He stole 25 of one photographer's images and more of other photographers. Most have been removed by staff.

Written on 10-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Very realistic looking! I thought they were real at first glance.

Written on 22-05-2014 by Jeff Lawson

Great shot.

Written on 21-02-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Ground flaps extended. Nice photo.

Written on 07-10-2013 by Guido Warnecke

Why Boeing Why!!!!

Written on 01-02-2014 by Nick Hesler

This is a nice photograph. I really like the metering to make it underexposed. That makes the image.

Written on 02-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

DC-3? Where?

Written on 05-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

It's not classified; he can't tell you because he got it from any number of sites all over the web. In other words, he's not the photographer.

Written on 17-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

In which sense does this one and other photos of yours contribute to a flight tracking and plane spotting web site?

Written on 07-12-2013 by Guido Warnecke

This is the actual plane A6-EEK that landed as UAE 434 in the Brisbane http://flightaware.com/photos/view/794880-9accb19b76efac85d183e91622afd433b7262b90/all/sort/date/page/1

Written on 01-10-2013 by Paraic Dooley

It's a Rutan Varieze

Written on 30-06-2014 by Jeff Lawson

Thanks. I've taken many of this plane and yet kept on taking it every time I saw it. The guy that owned it was a hot dog which made for some good angles sometimes.

Written on 28-02-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Not good.

Written on 24-05-2015 by Guido Warnecke

Wow! I've never seen a rainbow effect in all the years I've been shooting. Good shot.

Written on 23-02-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Thanks.

Written on 25-02-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Heat haze.

Written on 17-09-2013 by concord977

Again here my question: what does a photo like this contribute to the flightaware.com photo section?

Written on 15-12-2013 by Guido Warnecke

and if there is n auto-focus switch on your camera... put in in the position "ON".

Written on 21-08-2014 by Guido Warnecke

A fast aircraft!

Written on 05-11-2013 by Guido Warnecke

The actual ribbon is nothing more than a thin plastic ribbon, easily torn. I've seen a piece of it catch on his prop spinner before and it just hangs and flaps in the wind.

Written on 25-02-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Front row seat. Nice.

Written on 05-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

This 747 is going to have a hard time landing; it's landing uphill.

Written on 16-03-2014 by Jimmy Robinson

Alamo1000 - thanks. I use a Nikon D800.

Written on 03-11-2013 by concord977

Yo missed it - again!
