No wake, so I'm thinking it's a landing, not a takeoff.
Sure it is Bernie Behling, flaps fully down.
Could someone explain the approach, did he come in parallel to the beach and then hard left or did they drop down quick after the trees and the yard of that nice cottage?
I'll bet it was pretty bumpy
It was a landing...posted 2 others of the same aircraft on takeoff.
Weather was good for an Alaskan fall, but windy. The pilot leveled out the second after the picture was taken and put it down smooth. Made it look easy :)

on the Chena River and across from Fouts Landing.....a wonderful place.....great restaurant just down river....the Pump House and this stretch of river is almost next to Fairbanks International Airport,
