By the way, Ron, I grew up watching Stearman cropdusters flying around overhead... along with T-33 T-Bird trainers from the local airbase... and Southern Airways' Douglas DC-3's and their later Martin 4-0-4 Aristocrats in the sky. Add in all the Cessna, Piper, Stinson, and other types and I rarely looked down. Anytime we hit the road to travel, there were more cropdusters flying! A fairly mesmerizing childhood for a young boy, indeed!
