Despite the caption, the real story here is the just-delivered -300ER for United in the foreground. N2332U
Here's a second story from this outstanding picture . . Lay a straightedge along the leading edge of the United Triple's wing - it's straight as an arrow. Do the same to the Air France Triple, and you'll see a gentle bend ('lift distribution') as the wing is put to work! (Imagine what a couple of g's might look like!)
