Back in the 80's we had a squadron of them at Clark AB, Philippines as aggressors for DACT. It was pretty cool to see history still flying a mission (The P-80 was the first U.S. Jet Fighter I believe...it saw limited use at the end of WWII).

Got buzzed by a pair of these while a 16 year old student pilot flying an Aeronca Champ in 1959. The thrill lasted much longer than it took to clean my pants.
