Gav, ** One of your newest appeared on another site. It's gone now, but before you post any more here on FA, be aware there is no WM on them anymore. It's open season on swiping pics from FA. (And you remember the super pro who began posting here? I found some of his and queried the person who took credit as photog. The reply I got was, "Prove it! It's his word against mine." I replied back that I could not possibly care less about who the real photog was because they're not mine. Until super pro figures out what's happening, he's going to be giving his away for free while others offer 'em up for purchase at cut-rate prices.) But be careful 'cause yours are actual real life pics so yours will be in even greater value and will be getting photojacked.

Hi Gary - thanks for the heads up. Posting on several sites is open to photojacking so it's no surprise. Another contact over in the US told me he found one of his photos for sale at a market that had been taken from a website. He was able to prove it and the perpetrator was brought to justice.

I know of one website from which you can't lift photos and you have to ask 'if they can do it, why can't others?' In the end, for your benefit, if I get anything that I think may be of interest to you now, I'll just email it to you and I reckon I'll call it quits on FA.

I upload some for FA's benefit for aircraft they don't have, some they use, some they don't so some of their example pics of Oz aircraft when you check a reg are non-existent aircraft, but that's not my problem.

Gav, you're not the only one making that decision. And I suspect there may be others soon. (Grin) A very recent posting of the New England Patriots "Super Bowl" liverybird - same exact pic - is now on THREE different sites - with three different photogs claiming credit - and three different locations given. And one of the stolen postings has higher ratings and more views than the original on this site.
I'm going to reduce to occasionally just to keep it active while I watch to see how this plays out. (And the few I DO post will be multiple-WMed like the one I just posted today. Also, as I mentioned to Dave, anything I put will just be mediocre stuff so if someone wants to claim "credit," have at it. If I ever have a situation that riles me - like that person who worked for an airline, I'll use the multiple WMs to discredit whoever it is like I did to the airline person. lololol)
I've got e/m addys for quite a few superb photogs - I'll share with you. Just need to confirm it's OK. (Thumbs Up)
