Short Skyvan......they use it for skydiving. I got a dozen jumps from one of these!

Had one at my show in Milwaukee (AIR AGE '68). Blew a few minds when it backed into the space we allocated it in the display area.

In the UK we called it the flying shed because it looks about as aerodynamic as a garden shed!

She originally had the French Astazou turboprop engines in incredibly thin pencil like nacelles. But those engines left her under powered, especially in hot weather. Hence the change to the more powerful and also ultra reliable Garrett TPE331.
