SkyLease B744 at Amsterdam on Aug 1st 2015, fuel leak contaminates runway

A SkyLease Cargo Boeing 747-400 freighter, registration N742WA (soon N906AR) performing freight flight KYE-4851 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Miami,FL (USA), was taxiing for departure and needed to cross runway 24 at S2. After being cleared to cross the runway and turn right onto taxiway B the aircraft taxied across the runway and was about to turn right onto B. Tower cleared the next departure from runway 24 for takeoff, after becoming airborne the crew reported there was fuel on the runway. Tower replied the Boeing 747 to their right on taxiway B might have leaked fuel indeed, closed the runway and requested cleaning of the runway. KYE-4851 was instructed to pull into the apron R for examination.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 15 hours after the occurrence.
