When will Bombardier be able to deliver its CSeries aircraft to Delta?

Now that the tariff's have disappeared after the ITC decision it doesn't make sense for Delta to wait for the Alabama final assembly line to be up and running before taking deliver in fact I don't know why Bombardier/Airbus would proceed with this FAL.
Delta invested in some 88's due for significant maintenance when the lawsuit looked like it was going to go Boeing's way. They were forced to hedge for that scenario. Now they have 88's ready to do the lift that the C100 was slated for. Delta needs some time to reverse course and also recoup some of their losses on extending the 88's.

Hey now, don't be hate'n on the 88!
And wow, popular mechanics has fallen a long way since the last time I read one of their magazines. Calling it a terrible plane is like calling the DC3 a terrible plane. It's just old, that's all it has going against it. And surprisingly quieter and more comfortable than a brand new 73.
