Antonov AN225 Breaks Two World Records With Medical Aid Flights

The giant Soviet-built aircraft broke the world record for the most substantial volume of cargo ever carried twice in one week. (simpleflying.com) Daha Fazlası...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I would love to know when it will be in Sanford, Florida USA again. I have missed the landing and take off each time it has been here. Seeing it on the ground made me want to see it land and take off, both.
Would love to know what the hourly operating+maintenance cost is. Got to be in the six figure range.
I had the pleasure of seeing the AN225 up close at Toronto Pearson a few years back on one of the coldest days of the year. You need to see it in person to realise the size of this behemoth. I was clinging on to the fence behind it when thrust was applied to the engines. It makes a lot of smoke as it takes off into the sky! It was empty so was soon in the air. It was heavy on the way in, bringing mining equipment for 'up north' :>)
Sorry, i meant UKI. :-)
anyway, i don't see what you mean "look from bottom"? it's still yellow over blue to me.

Thank you for your service during these times. Showing true colors!
Would LOVE to see this aircraft someday!!
Ditto on the Hat Tip for a tremendous project and keeping her flying. I'm just curious why yellow over blue on the paint? traditional UK flag livery is blue over yellow.
