C-130 Hercules haul cash to Iraq...$6.6 billion missing
Pentagon officials determined that one giant C-130 Hercules cargo plane could carry $2.4 billion in shrink-wrapped bricks of $100 bills. They sent an initial full planeload of cash, followed by 20 other flights to Iraq by May 2004 in a $12-billion haul that U.S. officials believe to be the biggest international cash airlift of all time. Let's just take 6.6 billion of their oil and call it even.
Money we borrowed from China
lets buy some WMD from them, I'm sure GW can make a deal......
That si U.S. Military airlift for you, that shipment will proably appear in the Middway Islands before they realize the mess up, then take another 6 months to get it in the area, and 1 more month to get it there
LOL
LOL
the question begs to be asked - WHY - if the the good old USA thought that IRAQ was the instigator of the 911, was this payment for mission accomplished or was it a prepayment for damages to be incurred during the forthcoming war with IRAQ ? this really smells bad; but than compared to 3 trillion $s spent at a whim is peanuts
aww they lost 2.4 billion? no biggie! that's only 7 times more than public broadcasting receives each year... we better defund them! we're going broke you know!
Whats wrong with a check or Western Union?
