In my opinion, Boeing needs to eat any extra costs. If they sued the contractor, then put that towards their obvious overruns. (www.cnn.com) Daha Fazlası...

You're assuming they collected anything from that lawsuit. The article states the subcontractor filed for bankruptcy protection after trying to countersue Boeing.

Either way, Boeing missing the deadline due to a sub missing the deadline due to COVID-19 is COVID-19 delaying the project. Under normal circumstances once might tell a contractor to pound sand on an extension request, but this might be justified given how disruptive the pandemic has been.
