Note to self: Never fly British Airways
Better note to self: Don’t forget to take all your belongings with you when you exit a commercial airliner. However, I have never heard of a passenger being denied leaving a secure area before, they just have to be cleared or re-screened. Had a friend visit us in Phoenix once and left his iPad on board the inbound flight. At baggage pickup we had the airline radio the gate to see if it was turned in. Two minutes later an agent was walking towards the baggage area with an ipad under her arm, Security code opened the device and it was returned to the owner……….Kudos to Air Canada staff.
