McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (N585AA)
This old Mad Dog (N585AA, an MD-82), dressed up in the now outdated R, W, and B on silver livery, still looks pretty dang good as it glides past Mt. Rose while completing a late morning (11:10 AM) short final to Reno Tahoe International's runway 34R.

Well done Gary!
Leland, I truly appreciate your complimentary comment. Even tho I'm not all that far away, I have never been to PAE and every time I view your posts I keep restating a vow I made that I would get there some day. I've tracked those D-Lifters daily in hopes that one would pay a one-time visit here but never any such good fortune. And the variety of aircraft you have snapped there is simply awesome. Every one of your snaps is superior Q and I enjoy seeing each new series of posts from you. Once again, TYVM for your comment here.
Airframe silver is so uniquely lovely. It's a shame, a great shame that AA execs changed it. The photo is really beautiful.
once again, another flawless shot!! I would give it 6 stars if I could!
