Truman Hosts X-47B Unmanned Aircraft Demonstrator For Carrier-Based Testing
The Navy hoisted an X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) demonstrator on board aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Nov. 26, in preparation for an unmanned aircraft’s first, carrier-based testing. (www.suasnews.com) Daha Fazlası...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
That thing is so cool. When, when, when can I fly on it??
They should have an unmanned aircraft carrier for the UAVs.
X-47B? Yep, I have an iPhone app for that!
This represents the first documented carrier landing of this UAV. How many launchings before the first freeflight landing (retrieval?)?. Curiosity successfully dropped onto Mars, but I wouldn't like to be on the flight deck, or the lower part of the island for landing #1. The results of that will be more newsworthy than this PR piece.
Can't we get a ban on UAV related news?

:) No I mean on this feed
Sorry, my bad.
