According to the article and the Airbus CEO, the plane is ready. Reckon Baker has thrown one of his famous fits, trying to get a few last minute bucks of the price?
Perhaps a cabin issue as before with A380? There is a pattern of high standards with 747-8F for Cargolux, first 787, and now A350 that if there is minute wrong, Al Baker won't accept it. They may be a difficult & demanding customer, but the product does speaks for itself.
Well, this is true; if I was spending that many million $, it had better be perfect.
