Eric Shepherd - the aircraft in your photo is a Globe Swift GC-1B, production s/n 1338, manufactured in 1946 according to the FAA registry...

Thank you for the info! This one is based at KHKY. Always thought it looked like something from Disney's "Planes"!

Eric - yes, indeed... it does appear something like a "Disney Planes" creation!

Those Swifts with clear windows (not tinted) and unpainted aluminum "skin" tend to look much different to my eyes.
