Unknown/Generic Airship (N10NA)

That's a cool shot Sam! Is that Good Year blimp landing? Is it just the tail fins that produce that nose down attitude or do they move ballast back and forth?

cliff might know im not sure, im back to scanning some old photos from the 60s-90s but ill try to see....
seen the blimp land at KBUF before, appears to be taking off, kind of like a helicopter, nose down

Sam, that photo looks to be circa mid - late 1960's!

I believe you're right on the airship taking off with a nose down attitude... or would that be bow down with the stern pointing up? (AirSHIP, you know... and we're looking at the port side of this airSHIP in the photo!)

To be honest, I can't say for certain on exactly why the nose is down. I'm a little light on airship "how to" and reckon any answer herein is still up in the air!

thanks cliff, yea I didn't know the exact year, been scanning photos a lot lately...not sure of timeline on many of them, I know most of the reno ones are 1986 I believe
