Boeing MD-11 (HB-IWC) - KLAX - early 1999 shows -IWC rolling to 25R for departure on this late afternoon flight for Zurich. This was a great location as we also had 25L traffic screaming overhead as 25R traffic idled up to the hold bars. There were 2 pesky lighted pole locations that were in the way but with proper lens alignment one could get decent photos here.

KLAX - early 1999 shows -IWC rolling to 25R for departure on this late afternoon flight for Zurich. This was a great location as we also had 25L traffic screaming overhead as 25R traffic idled up to the hold bars. Great shot Tom and I suppose either the shot's no longer available or it looks very different after 20+ years.

Thanks Darryl and Oz Gman_ the parking lot is probably gone..this was about 1999 so we were not hassled too much here.

Scrapped in 2016. Sad, but she flew for FedEx so got a workout. She looked good in white and red. Beautiful shot.
