Hello Chris... I think the location would be "DSA " its the former RAF FINNINGLEY airbase in South Yorkshire UK.... now called " Robin Hood ... or Doncaster Sheffield Airport... hope that helps...

Cheers Allan! I had heard recently of Doncaster and wondered where it had materialised from in recent times. Hadn't realised that it was RAF Finningley in earlier days...

Its now called " ROBIN HOOD AIRPORT... the former RAF FINNINGLEY... also called DONCASTER SHEFFIELD, located just to the South of Doncaster in South Yorkshire UK.

Just a further bit of info about the Runway length Chris... the Antonov 224 has been here 4 times.... it can EASILY get on and off without any problem.... but it looks so impressive with 50 FEET of each wing overhanging the grass on the side of the runway.... The runway is 197 FEET WIDE...RAF Finningley was the former home of some VULCANS... the Last one to Fly XH 558 now " lives " in Hangar 1.... along with a Canberra, and a Sea Swift...
