Based out of Niagara Falls, New York, this C130H Hercules of the New York Air Guard's 914th AW climbs away from RTIA as the second of a two-aircraft "Roller Flight" departing on an afternoon training sortie.

Home base for this Herky is at Niagara Falls, about a twenty-five minute drive from both of the two homes where I lived the first 18 years of my life. If I had not already been committed to another aircraft spotting "road trip" with a fellow spotter, I would have applied for a seat on this one when it heads back to NY. I had to pass up the opportunity this time, but since the 914th comes here fairly often, I'll have more chances.
