I think there is an error as regards the Czech Republic, this plane clearly belongs to the Swiss Air Force

Micky ch: Yes, this F/A-18C is part of the Swiss Air Force; in the description, the photographer is informing us that he took the photo at Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Don, trying to figure out what you mean by "flarings"?
You mean the LEX (Leading Edge eXtenstion)? Those are the wing parts that come up to the canopy.
