N923AU —
Comments
Flew Air Attack missions with Aero Union's P3's back ten years or so. Great company and fine aircraft and crews doing a necessary job. Then, they went bust. Looks like they're back under new ownership???
I actually used to fly that plane when it was Aero Union. Notice that the tail number is unchanged. Just the name.
The US Forest service is the reason for the demise of Aero Union.
We flew the L188's with an FAA waiver and agriculture exemption and two man crew.
Well I am glad to see N923AU is back in service and flying. She looks real happy and proud!
