Travellers warned of disruption at Heathrow Airport as workers set to strike ahead of World Cup
700 workers at Heathrow Airport are to go on strike in the run-up to the World Cup, Unite has said. Workers employed by Dnata and Menzies will take three days of strike action, which will begin on 18 November. It will lead to disruption at Terminals 2, 3 and 4 as thousands are set to travel to Qatar to watch the World Cup. (www.itv.com) Daha Fazlası...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
So these are contractors for BA? Whelp. I'm sort of on the fence with this. If this is their full time job, they should be paid livable wages. JS
Screwing over the people that pay you will never get you a vote of sympathy! To disrupt travel makes people very upset and very very unsympathetic toward your cause! You are disrespecting the very people that make a job possible for you in the first place! I do not understand why all airline industry do not have a "No Strike" clause.
