Only 50 years behind the UK and France . Had it not been for obstructive decisions by amongst others, the USA we would be flying supersonic already..CONCORDE

Looks remarkably similar to Concord but with three engines. I guess the Brits did all the research which is now in the public domain. Why did it take so long to be used by by others after alternate designs were abandoned?
