British Airways upgrades Boeing 747 seats, inflight entertainment

I guess 18 of their 48 B744s are staying, and the others will be retired once BA takes delivery of all of their new A380s, B77Ws, and 787s?

....and I guess it depends upon what routes these aircraft are to be deployed. As Sebastian says, it may the 18 youngest members of the 747 fleet but perhaps the others depend upon remaining airframe conditions and future utilisation with the new ships joining the company fleet.

I hope BA keep the 747's going as as most major's ditch them they could in an odd way attract a loyal band of 747 enthusiasts!
