Cebu Pacific reveals first US flights to Guam, Hawaii

The planned Honolulu route is expected to use Airbus A330 aircraft, which will use the ETDO certification to fly direct routes across the Pacific up to 60 minutes away from the nearest airport. “The [ETDO approval] now allows us to serve new long-haul markets with more direct routes,” Cebu VP-commercial planning Alejandro Reyes said. “This means considerable fuel savings, and optimal flight times for our passengers.” (atwonline.com) Daha Fazlası...

I like Cebu Pacific for nice equipment, nice staff, however, safety record is not so good.

What really dings my radome about them is their marketing. They advertise this flight from MNL-GUM for $40 all in, but when you get to the window to pay it is $152! Then they add for luggage, meal, insurance, and a hotel room if they can get it. They also stuff-a-bus with as many seats that will fit. Not too awful for domestic flights that are seldom more than an hour, but to HNL you might suffer DVT.
