Airbus A330-300 (PK-LEF)

After several weeks without any international flights, on a murky morning, a mercy flight arrived from Chennai, India via Djakarta (added pax) and Denpasar (added pax) with 374 people able to return home. Lion Air does not normally service Adelaide with A330s so it attracted some attention among the aviation enthusiasts.

Due to strict quarantine obligations, the passengers will spend 14 days in quarantine in one of our vacant city hotels, then be allowed to go to their homes, some facing a further 14 day quarantine in their home states when they arrive there.

A second flight is scheduled for April 21, from Mumbai, India, I believe following the same route. These arrivals will be quarantined in another vacant hotel.

Thanks Darryl. We don't normally get Lion aircraft here so it was a rare moment for us. The best we got was Lion subsidiary, Malindo using B738s. Hopefully one day, they'll be back.
