If the Military’s Future Stealth Jet Fails, the Navy’s Got a Backup Plan
The U.S. Navy is carefully backing away from the troubled F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program — and putting in place a backup plan in case the trillion-dollar, jack-of-all-trades stealth jet can’t recover from mounting technical and budgetary woes. So much for the F-35 being too big to fail. (www.wired.com) Daha Fazlası...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
So much for being an aviation board. I'm amazed at how we went from a story about the F-35 to flaming each other.
Cripes.
And our wonderful "Obama'ment" is closing 149 of our much needed air traffic control towers....including the one here in my hometown which, I use nearly every single day. I just don't get it. Damn.
Ummm.......you realize the Republicans created the sequester, right? How is this on Obama? Blame Boehner and his ilk. Stop watching propagandized corperate media for information.
Ummm....Josh....I am simply stating a fact, which it seems you may not be aware of all that is involved unless of course you are in politics as I am professionally. Please be careful with whom you give advice to...I am and have been a political science major for my entire life and I work in the "political arena" my friend. I do not watch television for the very statement you made...it's nothing more than "propagandized corperate media" (your spelling, not mine), so trust me...I KNOW what I'm talking about. If you'd like to have a battle of wits, please, step right up my friend. This time however, please have the proper political backing to your responses AND make sure to use your spell check. Just saying. ;-)
Oooo, a political science major all his life (well, so far, anyway) and is it a double minor in philosophy and theater, too? Or is it in basket-weaving? And you're still majoring in it? Are you a professional student?
Don't they teach you in political science class that other people, including from across the aisle, are entitled to their opinions, too, (and that includes you listening to them if you expect them to listen to yours) or that being a political science major all your life does not mean that you and you alone know the True Facts? After all, you yourself said that you "KNOW" what you're talking about. Shouting always verifies and enhances your credibility, right? Anyone who says "trust me" to prove their point shouldn't be trusted. Ditto for someone who says "my friend" as freely as you do.
How generous of you to only allow people with the "proper political backing" to respond to you. What are you afraid of, that an opposing viewpoint might sneak through the kevlar shield you have around your head to prevent facts from interfering with your rants?
If you don't watch television, how do you know it's "nothing more than propagandized corperate [sic] media". I choose not to watch "Dr Phil", but because of that, I have no idea if it's good or bad. Yet you don't watch any TV and you're an expert about how bad it is? That must save a lot of time.
How long did you spend dreaming up "Obama'ment" (assuming you didn't just steal it from someone smarter than you)? Did you agonize about whether to include the apostrophe or not? I wonder how you'd react to someone calling your most recent candidate's supporters Mittheads. After you figured out the joke, I mean. Would you dismiss it as childish to use his name in a made-up word? You know, like you did.
If you're going to sneer at someone else for their spelling, maybe you should take a second look at your own grammar and punctuation before posting your little hissy fit. Just sayin'.
By the way, next time you invite someone to "step right up" to a battle of wits, maybe you should try being witty yourself.

Pardon, but I am having trouble parsing the fact your are simply stating.
And our wonderful "Obama'ment" is closing 149 of our much needed air traffic control towers....including the one here in my hometown which, I use nearly every single day. I just don't get it. Damn.
Is your simply stated fact:
1. our wonderful "Obama'ment"
2. closing 149 of our c air traffic control tower
a. 'our' - do you have an ownership position in any/all of these towers?
b. 'much needed' - by whom, and by what criteria
3. including the one here in my hometown - stipulated that you have a hometown somewhere.
4. I use nearly every single day - if this is the 'stated fact', how do you use it almost daily?
5. I just don't get it. OK, if this is the fact you are simply stating, I will accept that.
6. Damn. Is that a fact?
Your statement: I am and have been a political science major for my entire life.
I have to take that with a grain of salt. To my understanding, a 'major' is a general course of study at the post secondary level of education. I find a bit of difficulty believing you were studying political science prior to Kindergarten.
I am interested in how you incorporate being in 'politics' 'professionally' and your being an ATP. Just curious :-)>

Also, if you don't watch corperate media, how did you come to the conclusion to blame Obama? Really curious there, which is why I think you're full of it. There is only one truth, and you don't seem to have it. Only propaganda gets a person to say "Thanks to Obama" when facts prove otherwise. There are things like youtube that show whose fault your complaint lies on. In THEIR OWN WORDS! So again, prove me wrong captain politics lol.
"Oh snap" quote from Barack Obama and supporters.
nice one!!
Hey, boys, this is an aviation blog! Leave the crap to be fought out in some other arena please
